Seasonal Campsite Supervisor

Job Description

As a Campsite Supervisor you will be supporting the Campsite Manager run all aspects of the site and deputise for them when they are off duty.  Your key responsibility will be managing the guest experience and ensuring the have a fantastic stay.  As the Campsite Supervisor you will have responsibility for the smooth operation of the site over your shift from keeping the shop running to ensuring all the facilities are clean and serviceable and turning around the bell tents ready for the next guests. This is an exciting opportunity to gain your first experience of entry level management and leading a small team in a friendly and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Campsite Manager when they are off duty
  • Manage the activities of the campsite assistants over the duration of your shift
  • Ensure the smooth running of the site and delivery of an exceptional customer experience
  • Make hot drinks and run the onsite shop
  • Help customers with any queries and liaise with the Field Kitchen and Bushcraft teams
  • Coordinate the delivery of the in-house Arts and Craft activities
  • Ensure all the facilities are clean and get involved yourself to ensure they are kept to the highest standards
  • Identify any issues onsite and ensure they are passed on to the Campsite Manger

  • No leadership experience is required but must be keen to learn new skills
  • Available to work from Mid-April to Mid-September (exact dates can be flexible).  Weekends only outside the school holidays then up to 7 days a week.

  • The sites are in rural locations so you will need your own transport
  • Able to work a 6-8 hr shift between 0730 and 2100.

Employment Package

  • Pay rate £12.50 per hour
