These terms and conditions are a binding contract between us, Fallow Fields Camping Ltd and all of its subsidiaries; Fallow Fields Selson Farm Ltd and Fallow Fields Lathe Barn Ltd, referred to as “Fallow Fields” for the purpose of these T&Cs and you the “Customer”. These terms are deemed accepted on receipt of payment by you the Customer and the confirmation of your booking being provided by us. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you must advise us within 24 hours.
We reserve the right to change these T&Cs at anytime. Any such changes will take effect immediately when posted on the Website, in the brochure, at the Sites, or otherwise brought to your attention.
In order for all guests to enjoy Fallow Fields Camping, we kindly ask all campers to respect the following terms and conditions at all times. As the lead booker, you are responsible for ensuring all members of your party comply with these terms and conditions and you agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused by any member of your party.
Please note that you must be over the age of 21 to make a booking.
We reserve the right to request campers not observing these conditions to leave the campsite with immediate effect and without refund.
Please note: we DO NOT accept caravans motor homes or transit vans. Small camper vans are welcome.
We are a family campsite. Please respect your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum between 10.30pm and 7.30am. Acoustic musical instruments (with the exception of bongos or drums) are permitted for your own enjoyment, but please be respectful of your fellow campers. No amplified music, even from your phone, is permitted.
We are based in rural locations and cannot be responsible for noise caused by wildlife, vehicles and overhead aircraft or instances where other campers do not abide by these terms and conditions. Campers who are not abiding by the quiet hours of 10.30pm to 7.30am will be asked to leave.
We have pre-allocated pitches and bell tents. Your pitch will be allocated before arrival and you must only camp within this allocated area. Any tents/gazebos/ etc pitched outside of your allocated area will be removed.
To ensure that you have the space and peace to enjoy your stay, all pitches and bell tents are pre allocated. If you are booking as a group, we can allocate you adjacent pitches so long as you advise us in advance.
Any damages to equipment provided by Fallow Fields must be reported to reception. Missing/ damaged equipment may be charged to the customer.
We reserve the right to refuse 1) additional guests not pre-booked 2) guests if the details given are incorrect, 3) guests not adhering to onsite rules.
We accept small respectful groups of up to 5 tent pitches/bells, with a maximum of 24 people, but bookings are taken at the owner’s discretion. We cannot accommodate stag or hen parties, or single sex, adult only groups. Campers are advised that we are family-friendly and excessive noise is not tolerated. It is the responsibility of the person booking to make sure that the whole group is aware of these terms and conditions.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome free of charge on BYO tent pitches but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted in furnished bell tents, or in the showers and toilets. Please observe areas of permitted access when walking dogs and clean up after your pooch responsibly.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required on booking and the balance payable 21 days prior to arrival. Card details are not held on file, but we will remind you when your balance payment is due. If a payment is not received within these terms, the booking will be cancelled and any monies paid forfeited. If we are able to reinstate a booking after non-payment we will charge a £15 admin fee to do so.
Once you have received your booking confirmation, you have 24 hours to amend your booking free of charge or cancel with a full refund minus the payment processing fee. After which, in the event of cancellation or early departure by a customer, we are not able to offer refunds .
We reserve the right to cancel bookings and offer a full refund at any point if a booking is not possible within these terms and conditions.
Where possible, we are happy to amend and move bookings, subject to availability, up to 21 days before the date of your arrival. There will be a £15 admin fee applicable per BYO/bell tent amended plus any additional costs for which a higher sum is charged of any new dates.
Fallow Fields will not be liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have a single trip or annual travel insurance policy in place in case of unexpected events.
In the event we are unable to open due to a government lock down from Covid-19, any bookings will be credited and can be used for a future booking up to 12 months from the date of the original booking.
Campers MUST report to reception to check-in, regardless of whether someone else in your group has already arrived.
For BYO pitches you are welcome to arrive between 2pm and 8pm on the first day of your booking.
If you are staying in a bell tent arrival is between 3pm and 8pm.
If you are going to be later than 8pm, please let us know in advance and we will see if we can accommodate you. Arrivals after 9pm will not be allowed to drive to their pitch for the safety of other campers. Please note we CANNOT accept early arrivals under any circumstance.
**It is your responsibility to ensure you camp on the correct pitch. If you do not, we may ask you to move.**
In wet weather, we may restrict access to the camping fields for cars. This is for the safety of all campers, as the grass can become muddy and slippery when wet and therefore cause a danger to staff and campers. This also allows us to preserve the land and stop pitches and communal areas becoming muddy and unpleasant to camp in.
In these circumstances, staff will meet you on arrival and direct you to your pitch. There will be trolleys and wheelbarrows to move camping equipment to pitches and staff to assist as required.
All Fallow Fields Campsites are car free. You are welcome to drive onto your pitch to unpack on arrival (between 2pm - 8pm). Cars MUST be parked in our car park once you have unpacked by 9pm. No cars should be move around the camping fields in the dark for the safety of all campers.
Please park your car before consuming alcohol and with consideration of others. The site speed limit is 5 mph.
During your stay you can drive in and out of the car park, but please do not bring your car onto the camping field between arrival and departure.
On departure you may drive onto your pitch to pack away (between 8am and 11am).
Please vacate your pitch or bell tent by 11am on the day of departure. Pitches and bell tents must be left clean, tidy and free of all rubbish.
These must be off the ground in fire pits/ BBQs. We do not allow disposable BBQs on site due to their potential fire risk.
Fire pits can be hired and wood purchased on site. Anyone found to be burning a fire on the ground will be asked to leave without refund. You are not permitted to collect wood from the site or adjacent woodlands.
**Please do not deposit BBQ or campfire ash in the the general waste bins.
In extreme hot weather, or during very dry periods we may prohibit the use of fires/ BBQs. If you have hired a firepit or purchased logs in this case we will issue a refund for these items.
You are required to follow any safety advice provided to you. Please note the following safety procedures in particular:
Campsite facilities left in an unsatisfactory state, and any damage above reasonable wear and tear, will incur extra charges.
Always keep the campsite tidy and, on departure, clear your pitch/bell tent of all rubbish using the provided facilities. Please take home any broken tents and equipment.
We will keep any lost property found on-site for 30 days. Any belongings left behind after your departure must be claimed within this timeframe and can be collected (by arrangement) or returned by post for a £5 admin fee plus the cost of postage.
The owners of Fallow Fields and of any leased land for the use of camping or activities, are absolved of all liability for accidents and/or damage to contents/equipment and from any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
Any assistance you require or concerns should be brought to our attention immediately by speaking to a member of our on-site team. We aim to give assistance to you if you are in difficulty and to respond promptly to any concerns you raise so that you can continue to enjoy your break.
Please note that we are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware of and which you did not bring to our attention during your break.
Any reported matter which has not been resolved during your break should be advised in writing to: enquiries@fallowfieldscamping.com within 7 days of the end of your break. In such cases, we will only correspond with the person named on the booking. We will not enter into further correspondence on any matter resolved during your break and accepted as such by you.
All campers must adhere to the Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time of their stay. These will be updated regularly on the website and made available to campers prior to arrival.
